Dr. Yen Verhoeven

Dr. Yen is a learning theorist with over 20 years of experience teaching science and education to thousands of people from all ages. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction, and is a certified online instructional designer and program evaluator. Prior to becoming the founder and CEO of Qi Learning Research Group and the STEAM Café, Dr. Yen was a college biotechnology department chair and pharmacy technology co-chair, a high school science teacher, and a lab manager. She has a serious coffee addiction and in her spare time, she plays Beat Saber with her sons.

Jennifer Terry, M.A.
Jennifer Terry has been in education for over 25 years. She has worked in multiple roles within the school system as a Pre K-8th grade classroom teacher, an instructional coach for school, and a Culturally Responsive Teaching Coach for districts. In addition to this work, she recently co-authored a Socially Conscious Social Emotional Learning Curriculum that is rooted in Culturally and Linguistically Responsive pedagogy. Jennifer also works for the Center for Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning as a school consultant. She created and leads the Summer Institute training for teachers.  
Rachelle Archer
Rachelle is a restorative, trauma-informed, arts-based consultant with over 25 years of experience working with youth, families, faculty, and staff with program development and organizational leadership in School-Based Therapeutic, PBIS, creative youth development, after school, and  mentorship settings. She is known for energizing, equipping, and empowering leaders & teams working in high stress, high trauma settings to achieve their mission impactfully and sustainably.
